Green Leaves Entertainment, a tiny talent agency with its only office in Sendai, the largest city in the northeast Tohoku region, has seen its fair share of famous models, fortune tellers, magicians, and a variety of other artists come and go, all of whom eventually left the agency and moved to the capital. Now, with another protege fleeing to Tokyo, the agency finds itself broke. It's time for some crazy ideas and determined actions. Young manager Matsuda inadvertently pushes his greedy boss into action. The idea? Create a music group of young girls and turn them into true idols, idols adored by millions. This scheme smells like money! Enraptured by the opportunity to get rich and famous, agency president Junko Tange immediately sends the surprised manager on a quest to find charming candidates. "A girl group from Sendai? Yeah, right," skeptically thinks Matsuda. But during one of his talent scouting escapades, he has a chance encounter that makes him realize that the idea could actually be a massive success. The meeting leads him to understand that the concept of forming an idol group in Sendai is not only possible but could potentially launch them to stardom. Matsuda is now motivated to pursue this ambitious project with newfound enthusiasm and determination.
